FWBHS is proud that Phil Dorn has been appointed as the new Athletic Director and Head Football Coach.  Coach Dorn is from AAMU and is looking forward to the excitement and support that only Vikings can provide.  Coach Dorn will begin leading the Viking athletic program in July of 2016. 






Stars Dance Team 2016

In June, the FWBHS STARS Dance Team participated in a 2 day NDA camp held at FWBHS. At camp, the STARS worked on technique, team-building, and learned several dances that covered a variety of genres to include hip hop, jazz, kick and pom.  READ MORE






FWBHS Cheer will be hosting a “What to Expect” at tryouts Clinic on Saturday, April 16th from 9-11am in the Girls’ Fieldhouse. The cost is $30 and participants will learn and practice material that is similar to that of the actual tryouts. FWBHS Cheer Tryout information will be released on Thursday, April 21st. There will be an optional clinic on Wednesday, May 4th and Tryouts will be on Thursday, May 5th at 5pm. For more information or questions, please contact Coach Rachel Jones at FWBHSCheer@gmail.com.


Leesa Greenwood (shown below), Girls Basketball player, who will be attending the University of Notre Dame on a full academic scholarship is a National Footlocker Athlete Semi-Finalist and also a Ron Brown Finalist.



Daniel Orcutt has been named boys swimmer of the year.  



Tyler Cohen has been named boys golfer of the year.

Tyler Cohen and Emma Rudman have been selected to receive the prestigious All Sports Awards.
Congratulations to the families, Emma's track/cross country coaches, and Tyler's golf coach.
These student athletes will represent our school and our communities formally in February.

Congratulations Jackson Cooper on being selected as the FWBHS Legacy Challenger Award recipient! 






Viking wrestlers had a good start to the wrestling season at the Border Wars competition.  Overall the team placed 13th out of 24 teams.

Seniors Jesi Harrell, Ashley Holz, Alexa Gaddis, and Hannah Robertson were invited by In the Game Magazine to be featured in their cheerleading issue in September.

FWBHS Cheerleaders attended two camps this summer where they were awarded 22 All-Americans, Top use of Co-Ed stunts, and Best Use of Crowd Leading Skills.
