Welcome to Fort Walton Beach High School athletics, where dreams become reality.

Here are the updated FOOTBALL schedules.

Fort Walton Beach High School's football program will have its 1st Annual Lift-A-Thon on April 26 at 6:00 pm (For More Information).

The Fort Walton Beach Cheerleaders will be hosting a “What to expect at tryouts” clinic on Saturday, April 8th from 9am-12pm. This is a clinic for 5th-11th graders that will teach material similar to local middle and high school cheer tryout material to help prepare interested athletes for their school’s tryouts. You DO NOT have to be attending FWBHS to attend! This can be for middle school, high school, or all-star cheer preparation. The clinic cost is $30 and participants will be taught a cheer, chants, a dance, correct jump techniques, and will also get an opportunity to tumble on a cheer mat. For the registration form and any questions you may have, please contact Coach Rachel Jones at FWBHSCheer@gmail.com.

Fort Walton Beach High School Cheerleading tryouts will take place on Saturday, May 6th at 2pm. The information packets will be released on Monday, April 24th with payment of a $25 tryout fee. Packets must be picked up at FWBHS in the main office. There will be a clinic on Friday, May 5th at 5pm where the final tryout material will be taught and information for the following day’s tryouts will be given out. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Coach Rachel Jones at FWBHSCheer@gmail.com

The FWBHS Varsity Football Team has a strong defense! Led by Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Phil Dorn, the Vikings' Varsity Football Team has surpassed last year's wins. Coach Dorn, who came from AAMU this past July is already making a difference with the help of the assistant football coaches. We now have a much more exsplosive football team.

The Cross-country team is off to a great season. We have a very young team and they are working very hard.

We have 13 girls on our roster and 19 boys of those – 18 have already set personal records this season!

The teams have competed in 3 races. The girls placed 4th out of 16 teams at the Pace Patriot, 2nd out of 12 teams at the Bay Invite, and 1st out of 15 teams at the Ram Run, improving every week!

The boys placed 2nd out of 17 teams at the Pace Patriot, 3rd out of 10 teams at the Bay Invite, and 1st out of 13 teams at the Ram Run, making it a double win for both teams!

Phil Dorn has been appointed as the new Athletic Director and Head Football Coach. Coach Dorn is from AAMU and is looking forward to the excitement and support.

Congratulations to Gloria Clark and Daniel Orcutt on their Wendy Heisman School Winner selection. Daniel has also been selected as a State Finalist. On Thursday, October 20th, the State Winners will be announced.

The Stars Dance Team does not receive any financial support from the school. The team must rely on fundraisers and the support of local businesses who sponsor the team.

The 2016 Go Southern Beach Blowout will be held December 27th-30th at Northwest Florida State College. Local high school boys basketball teams participating in the event include Fort Walton Beach, Niceville and Crestview High Schools.
